The goal of the stories below are to become picture books wherein small children can grasp the story simply by seeing the beautiful artwork. By doing so, we aim for a higher level of vocabulary that will greater engage the adult reader who connects with the child by reading aloud. Additionally, children can learn vocabulary faster by quizzing the reader when confused and/or by learning meanings of words by seeing them realized in the artwork on the page. Hopefully this sectioned fable of how stars appear in the sky will allow adults to grow close to children, provide space for meaningful conversations about how to navigate life between these connected individuals, as well as improve reading levels for children by pushing them beyond normal scope with the supports of powerful illustrations.
